LFM User Meeting 2018 – North America

On February 12, 2018 in Houston, Texas, the LFM User Meeting North America will be taking place. The event is for those who use LFM software solutions to capture their asset changes in a Trusted Living Pointcloud and for those looking to improve their workflow for creating their asset’s digital twin.

AVEVA World Summit 2017

LFM is taking part in the AVEVA World Summit Innovation Hub in Cambridge this year from the 25th-26th October. LFM will be demonstrating the data workflow enabling point cloud data stakeholders to seamlessly take control of their data from an array of scan devices and bring them together into one trusted data set.

On stand will be the latest technology including Z+F’s IMAGER 5016 laser scanner and DotProduct’s DPI-8X handheld 3D scanner. These scanners will be alongside LFM Server, LFM NetView and of course technical staff on hand to answer your questions.

The AVEVA World Summit brings together delegates from around the world to celebrate AVEVA technology and get a taste of what the future holds for new digitisation innovations. This will involve keynote talks from industry key players, several exciting networking opportunities including an evening at the Fitzwilliam Museum.

This year is a sold out event so for those lucky enough to get a ticket we look forward to welcoming you there. For those without tickets, content of the event will be published including videos of the talks.

More details of the event can be found at avevaworld.aveva.com.

Announcing the 2016 LFM User Meetings

LFM announce North America and EMEA User Meeting Dates for 2016

Houston and Manchester announced as locations for 2016 user meetings

LFM have announced the dates and locations for our 2016 User Meetings for the Americas and EMEA regions.

Americas – February 3rd 2016, Houston
For the Americas region the event will take users back to the Eaton Centre training facility in Houston which has recently undergone a revamp and subsequent re-scan by the LFM team and our partners. To remind yourselves of the venue you can visit our demonstration LFM NetView project here

EMEA – February 24th & 25th, Manchester
For the EMEA region the User Meeting is ‘coming home’ to Manchester and will be split between two locations. The main user meeting on Wednesday 24th will be hosted at the world-famous ‘Theatre of Dreams’, Old Trafford (home of Manchester United Football Club). Of course it would be a shame for you, our customer to travel to Manchester without meeting the team so we will be hosting a second ‘Open-House training day’ on Thursday 25th for users to come and get your hands on the latest and greatest LFM software.

LFMs aim is to provide all laser scanning users with maximum efficiency and seamlessly integrated work processes, for that reason our software is under continual development. Our user meetings play an integral part in this progression, providing us with the opportunity to demonstrate the latest LFM technology and to openly discuss and get your feedback on the solutions you use every day.

Technology and your Trusted Living Pointcloud
At our 2015 user meetings LFM introduced our vision for the future of laser scanning in the form of the Trusted Living Pointcloud. The 2016 event will explore this vision in further detail as we investigate emerging technologies and look to provide you with more detailed understanding of the value your organisations can gain from adopting this methodology.

Also included on the agenda will be information and previews on the latest technology including the pending release of LFM Server 4.4 which brings with it the ‘HyperBubble’ alongside new operating and CAD link features AND the latest updates following our launch of the completely redesigned LFM NetView 4 Series.

LFM Laser Scanning Road Shows in Canada

Proven time and again on thousands of projects worldwide, laser scanning has solved the problem of automating the surveying process. This has delivered vastly improved accuracy of data, much safer work processes and drastic efficiency savings throughout the process of capture, design, construction and operation. However, in doing this the industry has created a new problem in better enabling change. Continual, rapid and enormous volumes of change!

Change is good, change is necessary and change is inevitable, but it brings with it risk. The challenge that the data capture industry must contend with now is how to better support the process of change and minimise the associated risk. The rapid and broad expansion of laser scanning continues to deliver increasing potential with advances in both hardware and software technology. And building on this technology LFM are offering a unique, visionary solution to deliver a Trusted Living Pointcloud to our clients.

LFM have teamed up with our global network of Value Added Resellers to bring you a series of road shows to give you the opportunity to learn about the latest technology, industry best-practices and the benefits you could gain by creating, delivering or consuming a Trusted Living Pointcloud.

Who should attend?

Whether you are new to the industry or have been using laser scanning for years you will find enormous benefit in attending these events. The agenda presents something for all, whether you are a surveyor, working in design and construction or an asset owner looking to streamline your operations.
